Ionization Smoke Alarms- Are the most common smoke alarms installed in home. They are highly reliable and simple to install.

Photoelectric Smoke Alarms- Use light inside the alarm to sound the alarm. They are less sensitive than ionization models and you will have fewer false alarms.  They are great to use in kitchens where false alarms are common.

Carbon Monoxide Alarms- Alarms that detect our homes odorless killer. Our alarms use new patented Monex technology to constantly make sure your alarm works. Available both as a stand alone and combination unit with smoke alarm.

Specialty Alarms- Choose this selection if you are looking for a hearing impaired, a tamper proof, duct mounted, or a heat alarm.

Fire Dampers- Code requires that any penetration in a fire wall be equipped with a fire damper. We stock these for floor, wall, and ceiling in either a square or round configurations.

Are your alarms more than 10 years old?

If so, replace them. According to Firex and other manufacturers they are past their operation life and might not function correctly in a lifesaving condition.

Prevent Disasters! Use a fire alarm, carbon monoxide detector, or a combination fire-smoke-carbon monoxide detector in your home

In order to protect your home and family a working fire alarm and carbon monoxide detector should be installed. Smoke Detectors are essential to keeping your family safe and secure.

The United States has a severe fire problem, more so than generally perceived. Nationally, there are millions of fires, thousands of deaths, tens of thousands of injuries, and billions of dollar loss - which makes the U.S. fire problem one of great national importance.

In 2003,

  • 81% of all civilian fire deaths accured in residences
  • Fire killed more Americans than all natural disasters combined
  • Residential fires represented 25.4 percent of all fires and 77.4 percent of structure fires
  • 26.3% of reisdential fires are caused by cooking

Many of these events could have been avoided with the proper use of a fire alarm, carbon monoxide detector and smoke detectors. Be safe. Purchase fire safety items from Atlanta Supply today!
